Free college courses anyone? Ivy League schools Brown, Harvard, Cornell, Princeton and other premier colleges now offer free online classes. Today I discovered another incredible resource.
250 Ivy League courses you can take online right now for free.
The classes are a bargain, as in free of charge, and they are a great investment of your time.
These Ivy League schools are also highly selective and extremely hard to get into.
It would be a shame to miss out on an opportunity like this. These are outstanding courses, taught by first-class professors, at America's cream of the crop universities. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what they were giving away for free.
Money Isn't Everything
Although, you can never completely leave out money out of the picture (the price of college is sky-high). Making more money shouldn't be your primary goal when it comes to getting an education.
Education should create possibilities for invention and discovery. Institutions of higher learning should produce men and women who are capable of "Doing New Things, Not Simply of Repeating What Other Generations Have Done."
If you want to increase your knowledge on a subject, learn something new or gain knowledge that will help you do your job better; there's no better place in the world to learn than one of these colleges.
They're offering classes in everything from Christianity Through Its ScripturesHarvard University via edX, to Wiretaps to Big Data: Privacy and Surveillance in the Age of Interconnection Cornell University via edX. Check out the sites and let me know what you think.
