Eating Walnuts several times a week will help you stay healthy and ward off disease. People have long thought eating walnuts had powerful health benefits; now science has proven them right.  Walnuts have a rich history dating back to 7000 B.C. They were eaten in ancient Persia and mentioned during biblical times.

Solomon’s nut garden existed around 940 B.C. No trace of the garden exists today, but it was located about six miles from Jerusalem in Etham and must have been spectacular.

Now, we know that walnuts contain a ton of antioxidants in a small, convenient package. They are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids and contain a large amount of alpha-linolenic acid which is great for our hearts and blood pressure.
